 Michael Ragus is a 25 year-old Senior at Texas State University majoring in Public Relations.

Born in Lewisville, Texas but raised in Denton, Michael transferred from The 

University of North Texas to Texas State following the first couple of years

of college where he found a home in San Marcos, Texas. Being able to financially

support himself is his primary goal in pursuing a Public Relations degree, however 

he is using Public Relations to further his career amongst the Software Marketing industry 

where he hopes to incorporate the expanding mediums of media outlets in his future line

of work.

Michael is the youngest member of his family, with one older sister and two loving parents. He plans on following the path his sister has set forward as he pursues his career. Minoring in Business, Michael is confident that he will be able utilize his PR skills in many different avenues of the marketing industry. With a great family background and an insatiable knack for learning, Michael shows much promise and is striving to become one of the top students in his class this year. 

As a member of the Hide and Go Seek Club, Michael enjoys spending his off time interacting with other individuals in games across campus. Along with his organization, Michael also enjoys watching and supporting the Texas State volleyball team, and is also very anxious as the Bobcats football team  look forward to starting a new season with Head coach; Everett Withers. Michael is not only on top of his academics, he is also a true supporter of what Texas State University has to offer.
