Meet Joe'l Godina

Texas State Advertising major, Joe'l Godina

Born and raised San Marcos, Texas resident, Joe’l Godina is a Texas State University advertising major. As a senior with only one year left, Joe’l hopes to utilize his marketing and writing skills to ultimately work in the film industry, making or starring in films. While his family still lives in San Marcos, Joe’l would be open to moving at some point, which would be helpful to his film industry dream.

Outside of his education, Joe’l has been employed at AT&T as a sales representative for a year and a half. In his free time Joe’l enjoys watching movies and working out. He especially loves chest day at the gym. Joe’l also enjoys spending time with his six dogs, which reside at his parent’s home.

Throughout high school, Joe’l was not able to be as active as he had hoped due to the fact that he grew nine inches prior to his Freshman year, which caused his knees to weaken. Although Joe’l was unable to participate in athletics, he still loves to watch sports teams. In typical Texas fashion, Joe’l loves the Rockets and the Rangers and can be found  cheering them on often.
