Estela Perez was born and raised in Comfort, a small Texas town about 40 miles northwest of San Antonio. Perez, classified as a junior, is a 21-year-old journalism major, who is also minoring in criminal justice. After seeing her older sister drive back-and-forth from Waco every weekend when she was attending Baylor, she chose to attend Texas State in order to be closer to her family. Upon graduation, Perez plans to attend graduate school, with hopes of receiving her masters in mass communication. Over the summer, Perez worked as a cashier at a restaurant located on a vineyard in historic Fredericksburg, Texas. In her spare time Perez enjoys volunteering at her local animal shelter; watching Family Guy, Friends and Vampire Diaries on Netflix; and spending quality time with her Cairn Terrier, Penny. Her celebrity crush is Ryan Reynolds.
