Camille Shotts

By Dezmond Moore

Camille Shotts is a 24-year-old junior/senior Mass Communications major with a focus in electronic media. In addition to her electronic media major, Shotts is pursuing a theatre minor. Shotts hopes to become a television programmer for HBO or BBC America.

Originally born in Anchorage, Alaska, Shotts was raised in Fairbanks, Alaska and moved to The Woodlands, Texas at the age of 14. She attended Woodlands High School. It was here that Shotts found her passion for television programming. That passion brought her to Texas State University, one of the best Mass Communications programs in the country.

In Shotts’ free time she likes to read and binge-watch television series. She once stated that she could watch a whole series of a show in one sitting. She loves to dog sit. Her favorite dog to sit is a Beagle named Nacho. When she’s not at school or binge-watching television series you can find her at the Alamo Draft House enjoying the most current films.
