Question 1: What is your opinion about the soon-to-be Texas Law that allows guns to be carried onto a college campus by anyone with a concealed handgun permit?

"I don't think it will make a big difference either way. In terms for instance, like in the Cold War when the US and Russia had the capabilities to fire Nuclear weapons, but they knew the other side did as well so it canceled out. If people know other people are carrying guns then it won't be different."

Question 2: So you don't think that if someone is angry and has access to a weapon that they might use that weapon in response?

" No.. no I do not. They would know that if they can do that than others can too. Going back to the Cold War, you don't fire your nukes because you know the other guy has his too.

Question: What is your opinion about the soon-to-be Texas Law that allows guns to be carried onto a college campus by anyone with a concealed handgun permit?

"We should absolutely allow open carry. Especially with all the recent terroristic attacks our country has been dealing with. We need the protection. Not allowing student to carry under any circumstances could ultimately be inviting that type of activity [terrorist acts].  If people know that campus's do not allow open carry they might be more likely to target an area where they know people don't have any protection, especially if they do not see anyone in uniform."

Question 2: So you do believe that it is more safe to allow guns on campus?

"Yes. Absolutely. The amount of students on a campus outnumber the cops. Considering the unpredictability of a possible terrorist attack and outcome if you have students that are armed that could help reduce the casualties and can ultimately get rid of the threat."
