Born in Harlingen, Victoria moved to Texas State in the fall of 2014 as a transfer student. She is currently in her third year of education, pursuing a major in mass communications and public relations with a minor in business administration.

Victoria transferred from the Valley, where she called home for 20 years. She graduated from Harlingen High School with honors and completed her first two years of college at the University of Texas at Brownsville. It was in then she realized she wanted to attend a large university where she could gain independence and experience life outside of home.

In the past, she worked as an Assistant Manager at AAA Storage Center and as a Legal Assistant for Benjamin Guerra and currently now works at Colloquium Bookstore. Her interests and hobbies include reading, writing, ballet, visiting various coffee shops and spending time with her dog Ralphie.

Upon completing her education at Texas State, she hopes to take a year off to do mission work in poverty-stricken areas. After that, she plans to pursue a Master’s degree at the University of Texas at Austin where she can gain further knowledge of her focus. She anticipates finding a career as a publicist in Central Texas or in a city such as Portland, Oregon.
