Allison Crawford in Galveston, Tx |
Allison transferred from Odessa College, where she got a full ride scholarship to play volleyball. After a knee energy during her freshman season, she decided to transfer somewhere closer to home, which is why she chose Texas State to finish out her education.
Her plans are to graduate a semester early and take some time to travel before pursuing her career. She hopes to eventually land a job as a sports reporter or maybe even an event planner. She is planning to get an internship in Houston, Texas, this summer with the Houston Rockets to help better decide a career path.
Allison says transferring to Texas State was such a great decision. She loves the small town atmosphere and being in between Austin and San Antonio. Since transferring, Allison has become the president of Texas State Women's Club Volleyball team and has also joined a crossfit gym in San Marcos. She is glad to be calling San Marcos her home.
In her spare time, Allison can be found working out, playing the piano or volunteering at the PAWS animal shelter in Kyle. Overall, Allison is enjoying living life and is excited to see what her future holds.
