Laura Valencia

Laura Valencia is a Texas State junior, public relations major and music aficionado. From Chihuahua,  Mexico, Laura has loved music since a very young age. At 20-years-old her passion for music has transcended the years and has been a huge determinate in her college career. 

As Program Director of KTSW, a radio station hosted on the Texas State campus, Laura is already one step closer to achieving her goals of working in the music industry in public relations. 

By working every Thursday for two hours in the DJ booth of KTSW her appreciation of music and the people behind it was further solidified. Having both a love for the sound and the producers who make them made Laura further appreciate her decision in wanting to work in Public relations for the producers she looks up to. 

Wanting to stay behind the scenes, Laura envisions her life as generating media coverage for the producers she loves, such as-Lege Kale, Sango and Spire. Laura is determined to be the proverbial bridge that brings her future clients and the audience that will listen to them together.
