Born 27 years ago in the borderland city of Mission, Texas, Ben McInnis is now a junior majoring in journalism at Texas State University.
The son of an lawyer and a teacher, Ben grew up on a farm which supplied potatoes to the Frito-Lay chip company. He has lived in Texas all his life, and originally went to college at UTPA in Edinburgh. After graduating from Texas State, he plans to go to law school and would ultimately like to move to Dallas to work for an insurance company.
As for his personal life, Ben enjoys spending his time with such activities as playing video games (particularly the recently released first person shooter known as Rainbow Six Siege), going to the gym, and playing with his dog Mofie. He listens to a wide variety of music including classic rock, EDM, rap and country. His favorite movie is a film called "El Infierno" which provides a very raw and uncensored take on the lives of members of the Mexican drug cartel.
