If you're ever walking around the Texas State campus and you see a girl with a soccer ball at her feet, wearing a Steelers football jersey, in some sporty gym clothes; walking around Old Main, chances are thats Brenna O'Donnell. Brenna O’Donnell is a Twenty-one-year-old senior who’s is currently enrolled in her last year at Texas State University. I had the chance to partner up and interview Brenna O’Donnell in our last class lecture. Brenna was
born in Colorado Springs, but shortly moved down south where she
began life in the greatest state ever known. Brenna grew up in Denton Texas,
a little town that lies up in northern Texas. O'Donnell is a middle child who has two older
brothers and one younger sister. Being a middle child sometimes sucked, but it was nothing she couldn't handle. She also has a step brother who in her words "is a smarty pants.” He's a science genius, and was gifted with the brains in the family. Although crunching numbers and science are her weakest subjects, on the soccer field she's proved to have her own natural gifts. Before transferring to
Texas State University she played Division II soccer at Texas A&M Commerce.
For two years she was holding Center Midfielder for the Lions, but due to
injuries Brenna left it soccer to focus on her studies. She is in her final year of college and is pursuing her
degree in in Public relations with a minor in Health and Wellness promotions. Brenna is a very active person, although she
loves sports and outdoors, an interesting fact about O’Donnell is that she’s a
Harry Potter nerd with a knack for fitness. She plans to venture out to San Francisco
later this year October 18th to be exact in order to complete a half
marathon. Brenna also has a sweet spot for football. Her and her father are die hard fanatics when it come to the NFL and College football. She’s a Notre Dame fan when it comes to NCAA a Pittsburgh Steelers when it comes to the NFL. A fun fact about Brenna is she bleeds black and yellow. Brenna one day hopes to use
her degree in order to work for a professional sports team. Whether it
be using her public relations degree or her minor in health and wellness
promotions Brenna O'Donnell is a young, determined and full of ambition student who is well on her way.
