Tre Simmons, age 21, is a Sophomore at Texas State University. He is currently working on a bachelor's in Mass Communications, with a focus on Journalism.

So far, Simmons has found his experience at Texas State to be positive, in an overall sense. He finds the campus to be aesthetically pleasing, and enjoys interacting with other Texas State students.

Simmons has worked for the past few semesters in the music department at KTSW, the campus-run radio station at Texas State University. Although he is currently taking a semester off from working with the radio station, Simmons hopes to continue working with them in the spring semester. In addition to his work with KTSW, Simmons has also spent time working for the Writing Center at Texas State.

Possessing a passion for both music and writing, Simmons hopes to put those talents to use by becoming a music journalist, writing blogs and reviews for various bands, shows and music festivals.
