Evelyn Burton was born and raised in a very small, East Texas town.  She suffered as the big fish in a small pond for a majority of her younger years.

In the spring of 2011, she graduated high school and set her sights on Texas State University in San Marcos.  Her first few years at Texas State she spent changing her major every semester and being indecisive about life.

Evelyn was always certain she would spend her life chasing after her dream of being a dancer but reality sunk in soon after freshman year of college.  She is currently in her senior year and has finally committed herself to Public Relations and could not be happier with her change of plans.

After studying abroad with the School of Journalism and Mass Communications this past summer, she is intent on pursuing a career that involves traveling internationally.

In her spare time Evelyn enjoys letting her creative side take control in the form of crafting any and everything, cooking delicious meals, writing her thoughts, reading and dancing all by her self.

She has a two-year-old lab mix whom she loves to explore San Marcos and the river with any chance she gets.

She appreciates the mystery of having no idea what she will do when she graduates.
