Question 1: The University has a record enrollment of 35,000+ students this year. How has this increase enrollment affected you?
"My classes are overcrowded, professors are overworked and there is a lot less time spent per student"

Question 2: has there been more students coming in to SLAC?
"yes a lot more students we don't have time for"

Question 3:Don't have enough room to accommodate?
"sometimes we don't have enough room or sometimes don't have enough tutors for the amount of people wanting tutoring"

Question 4: Should the university continue to grow?
"hell no! I have lived here since the 90's and San Marcos used to be nice, and it is not nice anymore. The river used to be clear all day now it is dirty by 5p.m. It is kind of gross now."

Question 5: Did the size of the university influence your decision to come here?
"no, cheap-ness did."

Question 6: Do you feel there is more diversity since population is growing at Texas State?
"I see more diversity, but I also see a lot more just white, standard students"

Question 7: Being a wildlife biology major, do you think the overpopulation affects the surrounding nature?
"yea, the river is getting dirty, the water used we can't sustain in this town, and also the fact that the town is just growing more south, east and west and just pushing for suburban sprawl. Not even permanent housing just stuff for students. Doesn't even help the families in the area."
